The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) has been in existence for several years and over that time has made many contributions to the pupils at the school. Each year, there are many fund-raising events that sponsor fun activities for the pupils, like the end of year discos, Mothers day Sale and the Summer Bounce, and charity events like the Macmillan Coffee Mornings. Who are we?
We are a small group of parents who volunteer to organise and run events at the school and at the same time raise money to buy equipment and resources for the school and our children. Most of us also have jobs and do this in our spare time. We do not get involved in the running of the school nor do we have any influence in what the school do. If you have any issues or grievances with the school they should be directed to the school and not the PFA. We had our AGM on 13th September 2018 and the committee was voted in. Who can be on the PFA?
Any parent/grandparent/aunt/uncle etc. who has an interest in the school and helping out can come along to any of our PFA meetings or just help out where they can. |
