East Tilbury Primary School is a partner in the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. We believe that all pupils in this community should be able to achieve their full potential through good and outstanding teaching and learning based on the Co-operative values. All pupils, parents, staff and other stakeholders are therefore encouraged to contribute to the school as an autonomous learning community. East Tilbury Primary School’s ethos is based on the Co-operative values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and sharing a sense of collective responsibility for supporting each other.
East Tilbury Primary School provides a first class education for the local community by providing a new and exciting curriculum based on raising aspiration, the pursuit of excellence and high ambitions. Our pupils are confident young people with high self-esteem, high expectations and a clear sense of their personal responsibilities both for themselves and to others. Our school is a place of inspiration where pupils learn about themselves, learn how to learn, learn how to work with others, and learn how to define and achieve their personal goals. This is a school where children feel safe and “Aim High!”
Accelerated progress in raising standards is being achieved through inspirational leadership, dynamic partnerships and strong stakeholder engagement across the whole of the Trust.
