This week in English, we have been reading ‘Starry eyed Stan’. We thought about the moral of the story- that Stan did not want to help his friends learn to sing.  Then discussed as a class how we should all be kind to our friends and help them if they need it. We were then able to role play the story as well as create a persuasive poster using WOW words, persuading people to come to Stan and his friends concert.

In maths this week, we have been looking at position and direction. We have been using mathematical language such as left, right, up and down, full turn, half turn, quarter turn and three quarter turn. We were then able to go outside and practice using the new language by drawing grids on the playground with our partner. Web had to give them directions to get from the start to the end.
