Last week we celebrated Commonwealth Day. Our class chose to study the country of Mauritius and researched aspects including, culture, religion, food, music and wildlife. Children chose interesting ways to present their findings and enjoyed swapping classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to look at work related to other countries.
On Friday, the children dressed up as a favourite character to celebrate World Book Day. They did so in style and got into the spirit of the day. The children each wrote a character description, using the skills they had learnt in English lessons over recent weeks.
