Wow! This morning we were all very excited. Some of us could explain why we were so excited. We knew that today we were going to see an eclipse. We knew that we could not look at the eclipse as it could damage our eyes. We went outside and it was so cloudy that we couldn’t see much. We noticed that the temperature dropped as we all felt a bit cold. Some places in the country went very dark.
We also made our own eclipses out of circle shapes to show we understood how it worked.
Year 1 joined the whole school as we prepared to witness the momentous occasion of Friday's solar eclipse - unfortunately the cloudy skies made it tricky to appreciate, but this didn't dampen our enthusiasm.
