In 2VG we have been busy learning new things. In English, we have been reading ‘Tell me a Dragon.’ We created dragons and then had to describe what they were like using noun phrases. In our Reading Skills lessons, we read the story ‘Extreme Living’. We used dictionaries to find out key words that we found in the non-fiction text.
During Maths, we have been completing addition and subtraction equations. Using base ten and number lines, we added and subtracted a one-digit number with a two-digit number.
During Art and DT, we have had lots of fun starting our unit on puppets. This week we had to assemble and join materials together to make a stick puppet. We designed and made a dragon puppet. They are now up on our display.
