Year 1’s foundation topic this term is the ‘seaside’. They have had so much fun creating a collage of the seaside using a range of materials and creating different textures using card and sand. They are really enjoying learning about the seaside from the past and present.
The whole school have been getting creative designing and making crowns to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III. Thank you to those that have got involved and really took their time making their crowns. We are excited to announce the winners on Thursday 4th May.
Year 2 have been designing their very own Ferris Wheels and thinking about what materials would be suitable and why. For example, glass pods so you can see the views and the frame to be made from metal as it is strong. Year 2 will then be making models of their Ferris Wheels in the upcoming weeks.
