As we move into the Summer term, Reception will be looking at animals and their habitats and comparing their different environments. Year 1 will be using their central idea of finding peaceful solutions to look at events beyond their living memory and how conflicts were solved. Year 2 will be using mapping skills to locate and name the continents and oceans within the world. Year 3 will be investigating the changes that happened in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. Year 4 will be exploring the life and achievements of the Ancient Greeks and how they have influenced more modern society. Year 5 are investigating the impact of the Magna Carta on people and societies through history. While Year 6 will be studying an early civilisation and also people who have had an effect through history and the impact they have had on civil rights. We continue to develop our history and geography skills through our Unit of Enquiry work.
